25 March 2022|

From midnight on 24th March the primary legislation set out as an emergency measure in the Coronavirus Act 2020 regarding registration has changed.

This means that telephone death registrations have ended and as from the 25th March will revert to face to face appointments, undertaken at the Registrar Office.

Changes to the Registration Service.

16 March 2022|

The Coronavirus Act 2020 is due to cease on 24th March 2022.

This means the way a death is registered is changing.

The West and North Northamptonshire Registration Service advise that all deaths from 25th March 2022 will need to be registered in person as the provision to register by telephone will no longer be available.

Our website will be updated nearer the time. We anticipate contact details for the registration service to remain as they are.

Keep safe!
