We’re very proud of our funeral cars, hearses and fleet of premium funeral vehicles that we update on a regular basis. All of our funeral vehicles feature the recognisable ‘BHS’ number plates.

Our standard funeral hearses are included in our professional fees, and we now also offer this beautiful Edwardian funeral hearse at a small additional supplement.

Thanks too to your staff members, Tracey and Chloe for their help and support making the arrangements for the actual funeral. Also to the kind man who arranged for me to view my Uncle before the funeral and who afterwards, drove me over to Northampton station for my return journey to London, and the kind lady in reception who on the day that I came to view my uncle also made me a welcome cup of coffee afterwards. And thanks also to Peter Wylie for his Celebrant services before and during the funeral.

This has been such a terrible time but I feel compelled to offer my most heartfelt thanks for the incredible sensitive and tasteful way your entire staff have treated me. From the first contact the two lads who came to collect Barry were very courteous and helpful. Meeting Chloe was like meeting up with an old friend, she is certainly a valuable asset to your company and should be extremely proud of the way she conducted herself right form the first encounter through the whole process. Even being kind enough to personally take the flowers to my home after dropping us off at the wake. Keith put into pictures the design that I could only have dreamt of in the service sheet and once again all contact with him was so smooth and trouble free. And last but by no means least I have to offer my thanks to Edna (Hollowells Vintage type Hearse). Such a beautiful and dignified Old Lady who carried out her duties without missing a beat. A big thank-you to her too.

What can I say, well I think you are all amazing people. This is the second funeral you have done for my family, the other being Mum’s husband some six years ago. I honestly can say I felt at ease, albeit distraught at the loss of my mum, but somehow the people involved made us feel calm and able to collate everything. The surroundings too are beautiful and restful. Trudi on the reception area was lovely too and very understanding when I lost control one day. She made me feel that it was quite natural rather than making me feel silly. I knew in my heart that you were doing the very best for my Mum; from collecting her from Cumbria to looking after her when she arrived with you. That was so comforting. I would thoroughly recommend the services you provide to anyone; it was simple; flawless and done with the utmost respect for all concerned. Just a huge thankyou from all the family for everything. Words don’t come close. People should know how great you are.

My family have used Hollowells’ funeral services on a number of occasions since 1996 and we have always been impressed with your company’s professionalism and sensitive approach. Sadly my Mother,Constance, passed away on Jan 25th and once again I have been very pleased with the help given by Hollowells both in organising the funeral / interment of the ashes and support during the bereavement. I would particularly like to mention Chloe whose kindness,empathetic approach,,reliability and knowledge helped to lighten the load at this otherwise difficult time.

Luckily, I haven’t had much cause to arrange funerals but compared to my previous experiences Hollowell’s service was exceptional. Chloe Darvill is a credit to you. She was so professional and thoughtful and I want to express my gratitude to her for holding my hand through the process. Obviously, with the regulatory changes caused by the Pandemic and lockdown, we expected the personal touch to be taken away by the regulations but Chloe ensured Nancy had the send off we hoped for her. It was a lovely touch driving by the Salvation Army Church to acknowledge the importance of Nancy’s faith and starting from St Christopher’s so the staff could pay their respects was very thoughtful. We were very impressed with the flowers too, kindly pass on our thanks to the florist.
