On behalf of my family and I regarding my husband Arthurs funeral. We would like to thank you and your staff for the excellent care we received, everything was arranged so professionally and sensitively. It was a difficult time for us losing a loved one. Special thanks to Tracey who made all the arrangements, her personality is great, she made us feel so comfortable, she was professional, but also a very kind warm person with a sense of humour, which puts you at ease, she bent over backwards to help us get over a little hiccup, she got everything sorted how we wanted. she is an asset to you all. Also a big thank you to the lovely Ann who led the cortege, she was so kind and caring, she linked arms with me on they way to the car, and also when we went in for the service as I was upset, she was very comforting, then waited for me when we came out. also a great asset. Also special thanks to Andrew Fox the celebrant who conducted the service, what a lovely kind man, and as we had chosen how we wanted the service he went along with it with just a few tweaks, he is an asset to his profession. And a big thank you to the pallbearers and the drivers , they are all so professional. Lastly a big thank you to Simon who did a little ceremony at Piddington cemetery when Arthurs ashes were laid in his final resting place yesterday, thank you Simon. Last of all thankyou for the lovely Orchid that was delivered to me, it is lovely.

Over the past 24 months unfortunately I have had to arrange three close Family Funerals, Mum, Dad and Sister, this I have never had to do before. Mum and Dad did have a “Funeral Plan” which was arranged with Hollowells years ago. Hollowells/Ann as Funeral Director/Amy who stood in for Ann at my Mum’s Funeral/Keith was amazing helping with Music and Songs/Reception with all my extra questions all helped me going that extra distance with everything I found difficult or any problems or doubts about. Hollowells completely honoured the “Funeral Plan” with no extra costs to the Family.
My Sisters was a very complicated Funeral to arrange again Hollowells were completely understanding and there for me and my Family every step of the way!
Hollowells continues with support/information after the Funeral.
My Family and I are very grateful to Hollowells for their help during these very difficult times and I
would not hesitate to recommend them!

Just to say thankyou for all of your help concerning the care and funeral service of my Mum,
Mrs Olwen Curran.
From my initial meeting with Tracey Taylor, everything was conducted with care and professionalism throughout the process and everyone was accommodating to our wishes and needs and able to make what was undoubtably the most difficult time in my life go as smoothly as possible.
You cared for her well, and every thing we, and she would have wanted was addressed and Mum left us looking magnificent in her clothes specially picked out for her. Every detail was attended to and I am so glad of the care given to her which was a huge relief to me as this was one of my biggest worries in the weeks following her passing.
Special thanks to Tracey for putting up with my incessant emails, and also to Ann O’Neill for Meeting with me prior to the service, for her professionalism during the day and most importantly for going the extra mile at every opportunity to ensure that my Mum had the farewell that she really did deserve.
I just want you to know how grateful we all are at this end for everything you have done, and for attending to all the small details we requested in order to make it exactly how it needed to be – It really is appreciated.

Luckily, I haven’t had much cause to arrange funerals but compared to my previous experiences Hollowell’s service was exceptional. Chloe Darvill is a credit to you. She was so professional and thoughtful and I want to express my gratitude to her for holding my hand through the process. Obviously, with the regulatory changes caused by the Pandemic and lockdown, we expected the personal touch to be taken away by the regulations but Chloe ensured Nancy had the send off we hoped for her. It was a lovely touch driving by the Salvation Army Church to acknowledge the importance of Nancy’s faith and starting from St Christopher’s so the staff could pay their respects was very thoughtful. We were very impressed with the flowers too, kindly pass on our thanks to the florist.
