My family and I would like to take this opportunity to express how kind and caring Paul Hollowell was to me when my husband died. My first point of contact was Tracey who was very professional and respectful to my needs with regards to my funeral plans and who arranged everything. On the day of the funeral the arrangements were carried out with care and dignity with a beautiful service held at Nene Valley Crematorium.

Although I have lived in Northamptonshire for many years I was unaware of any funeral services in the locality so when my 96 year old mother was admitted to a nursing home I was at a loss when they asked me for my choice of funeral director. I did a bit of checking but the home said some nice things about your team so I made contacted. How right they were from the moment I made contact your team could not have been more helpful even when I was contacted with the information that mum’s body had been received & I said I wasn’t sure what to do next I was told the steps that would occur & even given the telephone number for the registrar. As I say everyone has been kind & professional but I would like to especially highlight Chloe who we met to organise the funeral, she was incredibly kind & helpful, nothing was too much trouble for her even to sorting out a Saturday cremation as one son is a senior school teacher & is very busy at this time of year with exams etc & she even made sure that it was a mid morning service so both sons could drive down on the day.

I think that all your staff were very sensitive (most important), discreet and did a wonderful job. Chloe was the one I liaised with and she was very understanding and efficient as well as easy to communicate with. I commend them all. I do a lot of funeral, although not in your area and not all funeral directors are as efficient as you are.

Your family firm conducted my husbands funeral in January, I felt I had to drop you a message to congratulate you on your staff, everyone one of them from the ladies on reception, the lad who does the printing, the gentlemen who drove the cars, Helen who conducted Alan’s interment and I am sure there is a few people who work behind the scenes who we do not see need my thanks.
But I must make a special mention for Chloe what a lovely lady nothing was too much trouble for her, and she showed us such care and compassion, so from my family and I “THANK YOU SO MUCH “ for making a very difficult time a little bit easier.

Just to say thankyou for all of your help concerning the care and funeral service of my Mum,
Mrs Olwen Curran.
From my initial meeting with Tracey Taylor, everything was conducted with care and professionalism throughout the process and everyone was accommodating to our wishes and needs and able to make what was undoubtably the most difficult time in my life go as smoothly as possible.
You cared for her well, and every thing we, and she would have wanted was addressed and Mum left us looking magnificent in her clothes specially picked out for her. Every detail was attended to and I am so glad of the care given to her which was a huge relief to me as this was one of my biggest worries in the weeks following her passing.
Special thanks to Tracey for putting up with my incessant emails, and also to Ann O’Neill for Meeting with me prior to the service, for her professionalism during the day and most importantly for going the extra mile at every opportunity to ensure that my Mum had the farewell that she really did deserve.
I just want you to know how grateful we all are at this end for everything you have done, and for attending to all the small details we requested in order to make it exactly how it needed to be – It really is appreciated.

I am writing to thank Chloe and her team for making what was a difficult day run as smoothly as possible. Chloe in particular was excellent. Her suggestions, when we first met in the office, were spot on, and on the day she gently guided us when necessary and gave us clear options when it was our choice. She made the day as stress free as was possible. Chloe was very helpful, efficient, sympathetic and understanding, and I cannot commend her enough.

I would like to say a big Thank You on behalf of Jacqui’s family for such a wonderful send off & celebration of her life, we were in good hands with Nicola. From start to finish Hollowell’s where understanding, sympathetic & mindful of our situation without being overpowering as there where so many emotions involved but when the family met Anne they felt at ease straight away & struck up a great bond with her & came away from the 1st meeting with a sense that Jacqui was in the best hands. Nothing was too much trouble & the little things they do like the aftercare visit where well received. I highly recommend the Hollowell’s team,
P.s I hope to see a picture of Jonny Vegas hanging in the reception( if we ever have to visit again 🙂

I just wanted to thank you all at Hollowells for arranging My Dads (Dennis) funeral. You made a very difficult time a little easier by taking away some of the stress and worry with arranging everything for us. You all dealt with the funeral in a really kind and respectful way and supported us throughout the whole thing from arrangements to the service. Covid restrictions made this time even harder but again Hollowells led us in the correct way forward and made the funeral as nice as it could be at this time. The fact you had arranged my Mum s funeral 18 months before was also a pressure taken away as we already knew how well you all deal with things. It was lovely to have the two services dealt with by yourselves to give consistency and similarly for my lovely parents.
