I’d like to take this opportunity to personally thank all at Hollowells for the great funeral service you helped to put on for my Dad Michael Collyer recently. Whilst obviously a sad time I take great comfort knowing that we gave him a great day to celebrate his life.
I would like to say a special mention to Chloe who looked after our arrangements. Despite numerous emails from me asking the most basic questions or just wanting to ensure everything was in hand my dialogue was met with nothing but compassion, empathy and very much a can do approach that made you feel nothing was too much to ask. In a time of turmoil the professionalism and personality in which Chloe displayed throughout was very comforting and meant our focus could be put in just ourselves and dealing with the emotions we had.

The service we received has been exceptional, in particular from Ann O’Neill, Jane Gower and Jayne Gammage for the follow-up. Everyone is so good including the drivers who on the day were so respectful and kind. They are putting themselves at risk without thinking. That’s very selfless. We are being genuine when we say we really didn’t expect it to be done as well as it was. A lot of the stress was taken from us and the empathy and compassion goes above and beyond.

Your family firm conducted my husbands funeral in January, I felt I had to drop you a message to congratulate you on your staff, everyone one of them from the ladies on reception, the lad who does the printing, the gentlemen who drove the cars, Helen who conducted Alan’s interment and I am sure there is a few people who work behind the scenes who we do not see need my thanks.
But I must make a special mention for Chloe what a lovely lady nothing was too much trouble for her, and she showed us such care and compassion, so from my family and I “THANK YOU SO MUCH “ for making a very difficult time a little bit easier.

We would like to thank you for organising Bob’s mother’s funeral which took place at Milton Crematorium yesterday. It all went very well and we were also very impressed with the service arranged by Andrew Fox.

My mum Dorothy Steel had already booked and paid for a funeral plan with Hollowells , so a lot of the organisation was already planned. However, it’s always a difficult time when a loved one dies and its so important to have that personal and professional guidance to get you through it and ensure that everything goes according to plan.
I and my whole family would like to thank everyone at Hollowells who played their part. From the ladies on reception, Keith who organised the order of service and webcast , the coffin bearers and particularly Amy, our director. Every aspect was carried out with empathy, care, patience and respect. Everything went according to plan and mums life was successfully celebrated with the imperative and welcome guidance of Amy’s choice of celebrant, the lovey Jane Harcock. We couldn’t have asked for better, so thank you all.
