Luckily, I haven’t had much cause to arrange funerals but compared to my previous experiences Hollowell’s service was exceptional. Chloe Darvill is a credit to you. She was so professional and thoughtful and I want to express my gratitude to her for holding my hand through the process. Obviously, with the regulatory changes caused by the Pandemic and lockdown, we expected the personal touch to be taken away by the regulations but Chloe ensured Nancy had the send off we hoped for her. It was a lovely touch driving by the Salvation Army Church to acknowledge the importance of Nancy’s faith and starting from St Christopher’s so the staff could pay their respects was very thoughtful. We were very impressed with the flowers too, kindly pass on our thanks to the florist.

Sincere thanks to all at Hollowells for their oustanding attention to detail and their compassionate care of Rose and the wider family.
Especial thanks go to Dale Earl for his calm and sympathetic approach which made us know that we were in the safest of hands.
The funeral was conducted beautifully by Kaylie Cullen. Her quiet demeanour and professionalism made the service so special and it enabled us to remember Rose as she would have wished.
We were recommended to ‘The Secret Garden’ for our floral tribute and they gave us the most glorious arrangement which was exactly what we asked for.
Thank you once again for your care and attention at this sad time.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your wonderful staff for all the help they gave myself and my son in making arrangements for my Mothers funeral that took place on the 8th October. In particular Tracey Taylor, who took the time and patience to help and advise us at such a difficult time. Another member of your staff named Ann who took charge on that day was so helpful and guided me through the funeral service. Trish Tidy was the Celebrant on that day who also did a wonderful service.
Back in 1999 yourselves took care of my Grandmothers funeral, and 2000 my Fathers funeral. In both cases your staff did a wonderful job.
I would have no hesitation in recommending yourselves to my friends and family.

Can I just say what a beautiful day dad’s funeral was. Everything ran to clockwork as you said and your whole team just made the day so much better. I am so pleased we chose yourselves and would happily recommend you in the future. Janene was absolutely lovely from our first meeting and I felt immediately at ease with her and she made what was a difficult day something very special . I am normally the person who takes care of everyone and it was so nice to feel cared for by her. I know the cynical would say it’s her job but in my experience you can’t fake that level of care and compassion. However all your staff from the lady who took my first phone call to everyone involved with the actual day did you proud. They are all deserving of thanks .

Mum had a pre-paid funeral plan which made the whole process so much easier at a time when you don’t need the extra stress in guessing what mum wanted when the time came and of course having to find the funds to pay for the funeral.
