I am extremely grateful to Hollowells for their compassion, efficiency and general professionalism throughout this distressing process. Everyone I dealt with from the receptionist to those who dealt with the service on the day were exemplary. In particular the family and I send our heartfelt thanks to Chloe. From initial contact through to the day of the funeral itself, in all my dealings with her I always had the impression that the client was important and every little detail was important. That meant a lot to us all. I would have no hesitation in mentioning such a positive ( in all the circumstances) experience to anyone else unfortunate to find themselves facing this sad event. In short Hollowells handling of this sad occasion was nothing short of faultless. Given the additional constraints imposed by the pandemic, the performance was admirable. Over the past 24 months unfortunately I have had to arrange three close Family Funerals, Mum, Dad and Sister, this I have never had to do before. Mum and Dad did have a “Funeral Plan” which was arranged with Hollowells years ago. Hollowells/Ann as Funeral Director/Amy who stood in for Ann at my Mum’s Funeral/Keith was amazing helping with Music and Songs/Reception with all my extra questions all helped me going that extra distance with everything I found difficult or any problems or doubts about. Hollowells completely honoured the “Funeral Plan” with no extra costs to the Family.

My Sisters was a very complicated Funeral to arrange again Hollowells were completely understanding and there for me and my Family every step of the way!

Hollowells continues with support/information after the Funeral.

My Family and I are very grateful to Hollowells for their help during these very difficult times and I

would not hesitate to recommend them!

Hollowells have recently provided funeral services following the passing of our mother. We would like to say thank you to the whole of your staff during the whole process. You have all been sensitive, thoughtful and extremely professional throughout from the initial appointment, the viewing, the production of the order of service, everything on the day of the funeral and provision of Mum’s ashes. The funeral went very well and was well organised by Amy and your team particularly with your help with the grandchildren carrying their Nan in. Our Mum would be so happy with how things went. A special thank you for the orchid, the photo and remembrance card. Honestly, we can’t thank you all enough for everything that you’ve done to make things go as smoothly as they have.
