Making arrangements at a distance carries a degree of concern that all will be as stated, but Hollowells provided everything and more that we could have asked for.
Everything was extremely well organised and communication was very efficient. It all helps with not having to worry about anything else other than being there on the day.
There was nothing you as a company have not thought through.

I was so pleased that Amy was my contact at Hollowells. She always struck the right note. She was professional, organised and efficient but also compassionate, kind, dignified and understanding. Since the moment that we first met to begin to organise mum’s funeral, you brought great comfort and support to a difficult situation. Having to make decisions about things that I never thought I’d be having to make yet, was made easier with your guidance and experience. At each stage, you explained the process step by step and at every point you were there on hand to ensure we were fully supported.
Every time we met, your friendly smile, reassuring wink and comforting hug brought great comfort. Knowing that you were by my side each step of the way was reassuring. Thank you for helping us to give mum the best send off that we could have possibly given her. Your expertise and your personal touch made a difficult situation manageable. I’m sure that mum would have felt very flattered with how special she was made to feel.

Dear Tracey and the team at Hollowells
I wanted to write to sincerely thank you all for the incredible care, kindness and support you have shown me, not only recently with my Grandad’s funeral but previously with my Grandma as well.
Tracey, I cannot thank you enough personally for everything you did. Your compassion, patience, reassurance, and warmth helped me more than I can properly put into words during such difficult times. You consistently went above and beyond and knowing I was being supported who truly cared made such a difference.
To the whole team at Hollowell’s, during such a difficult and emotional time, your kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made a huge difference to us all. Everything was handled with such dignity and genuine care.

Thanks too to your staff members, Tracey and Chloe for their help and support making the arrangements for the actual funeral. Also to the kind man who arranged for me to view my Uncle before the funeral and who afterwards, drove me over to Northampton station for my return journey to London, and the kind lady in reception who on the day that I came to view my uncle also made me a welcome cup of coffee afterwards. And thanks also to Peter Wylie for his Celebrant services before and during the funeral.

Everyone who attended was very impressed with the fact that although a sad affair, it was also a joyful one celebrating my late husband’s life. We could not have achieved that without the fantastic service we had from your firm, and in particular Ann O’Neill, our Funeral Director, who was kindness personified.
The family particularly appreciated her accommodation of our wish that Brian’s son and three grandsons to be pallbearers, culminating in them assisting in lowering Brian into his final resting place in the Churchyard, where he lies with several of our friends who had gone before him.
The floral tribute was exactly what we had wished for, and the catering was just perfect, with the left-overs going home with various young family members to finish off!
This is the sixth funeral your firm has undertaken for our families – my parents in the 1980s and 1990s, Brian’s father, sister and brother-in-law in the early part of this century. We would not have wished to use any other firm than yours for Brian’s funeral, and recommend you to anyone interested.
