My sisters and I could not have been more happy or impressed with the service we received from Hollowells. Chloe was our main point of contact, and was excellent throughout – caring, thoughtful, thorough, always helpful, on top of the detail and willing to offer sensible advice on broader issues surrounding handling my mother’s death too. But all of the staff were excellent in the way they responded to our approaches and saw issues through, from handling death and burial certificates, flower requests and the order of service, as well as to preparing very sensitively a visit to the Chapel of Rest by one of my sisters and her family.
The day of the funeral passed exactly as planned and without a hitch. In my tribute at the funeral I thanked Chloe and all of Hollowells staff, for whom nothing had been too much trouble. I meant every word. Based on our experience, I would recommend Hollowells to anyone.

I just wanted to thank you so much for the arrangements made for my husband’s funeral. Not only were matters dealt with efficiently and effectively but also sensitively and supportively. I and my children were so grateful. I should like to pay special tribute to Tracey at Brafield, who was our initial contact, to Keith for helping me sort the technical side and Amy for her unobtrusive but very supportive presence on the day. This is my third experience of using your services and I cannot fault your commitment and consideration.

I’d like to take this opportunity to personally thank all at Hollowells for the great funeral service you helped to put on for my Dad Michael Collyer recently. Whilst obviously a sad time I take great comfort knowing that we gave him a great day to celebrate his life.
I would like to say a special mention to Chloe who looked after our arrangements. Despite numerous emails from me asking the most basic questions or just wanting to ensure everything was in hand my dialogue was met with nothing but compassion, empathy and very much a can do approach that made you feel nothing was too much to ask. In a time of turmoil the professionalism and personality in which Chloe displayed throughout was very comforting and meant our focus could be put in just ourselves and dealing with the emotions we had.

We would also like to thank Janene for standing in for Amy who was not able to attend on the day.
She ensured that everything went according to the schedule and was able to allay any worries that we had on the day. She is a great girl and had a fantastic personality whilst remaining very professional in the role.

We wanted to say a big “Thank You” from all the family of Tony Cattell for the wonderful send off we were able to give him with your assistance. Your professionalism and respect shown to Dad was perfect. It was a very uplifting experience following Dad’s last few months of illness and just how we wanted to celebrate his life. The Celebrant Jayne Harcock who you recommended was also excellent.

From the very first moment, we were treated with such warmth, patience, and genuine kindness that we felt supported and understood during one of the most painful times of our lives.
Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every detail was handled with dignity, sensitivity, and respect. Amy and the rest of the team carried us through the entire process with reassurance and grace, allowing us to focus on saying goodbye to our dad. Their service was truly faultless, and we will be forever grateful for everything they did for our family.
