I would like to say a big Thank You on behalf of Jacqui’s family for such a wonderful send off & celebration of her life, we were in good hands with Nicola. From start to finish Hollowell’s where understanding, sympathetic & mindful of our situation without being overpowering as there where so many emotions involved but when the family met Anne they felt at ease straight away & struck up a great bond with her & came away from the 1st meeting with a sense that Jacqui was in the best hands. Nothing was too much trouble & the little things they do like the aftercare visit where well received. I highly recommend the Hollowell’s team,
P.s I hope to see a picture of Jonny Vegas hanging in the reception( if we ever have to visit again 🙂
Thank You xx
Kind Regards
.
This has been such a terrible time but I feel compelled to offer my most heartfelt thanks for the incredible sensitive and tasteful way your entire staff have treated me. From the first contact the two lads who came to collect Barry were very courteous and helpful. Meeting Chloe was like meeting up with an old friend, she is certainly a valuable asset to your company and should be extremely proud of the way she conducted herself right form the first encounter through the whole process. Even being kind enough to personally take the flowers to my home after dropping us off at the wake. Keith put into pictures the design that I could only have dreamt of in the service sheet and once again all contact with him was so smooth and trouble free. And last but by no means least I have to offer my thanks to Edna (Hollowells Vintage type Hearse). Such a beautiful and dignified Old Lady who carried out her duties without missing a beat. A big thank-you to her too.
I just wanted to pass on my heartfelt thanks to you and all of your colleagues at Hollowells for the amazing job you did with the whole process. The service was the perfect way to say goodbye to our dear Nan.
A special mention to the ladies at the Beech Avenue branch who were brilliant with all of us that came to view Nan on multiple occasions, their compassion and empathy really meant a lot.
I just wanted to say what a lovely funeral you arranged for my aunt Audrey Wilks on Friday 11th July.
Special thanks go to Dale who quietly and calmly let me know how the progress of the service would work at the crematorium.
Thank you all for your guidance and caring attitude.
Hollowells go that extra mile. You always do a good job. I am happy to recommend you and thank you.
My mum Dorothy Steel had already booked and paid for a funeral plan with Hollowells , so a lot of the organisation was already planned. However, it’s always a difficult time when a loved one dies and its so important to have that personal and professional guidance to get you through it and ensure that everything goes according to plan.
I and my whole family would like to thank everyone at Hollowells who played their part. From the ladies on reception, Keith who organised the order of service and webcast , the coffin bearers and particularly Amy, our director. Every aspect was carried out with empathy, care, patience and respect. Everything went according to plan and mums life was successfully celebrated with the imperative and welcome guidance of Amy’s choice of celebrant, the lovey Jane Harcock. We couldn’t have asked for better, so thank you all.
Hi Paul, I wanted to write to you to thank you and the Hollowells team for the wonderful support and care your provided in arranging my mum Hazel’s funeral.
Tracey was truly amazing – her kindness and warmth made a difficult time so much easier to manage. I really appreciated how she took the time to get to know my mum and understand what would make the service special.
Tracey had suggested Trish Tidy as a celebrant and she was right – Trish was the perfect fit to lead the service and she did an incredible job in bringing my mum’s personality to life in such a heartfelt way. It meant so much to me to have a ceremony that felt so personal and meaningful, and I know my mum would have been smiling down on us.
Thank you again to your all for your professionalism and compassion throughout, it made all the difference.
Thank you for looking after my family and myself during this sad time. I had not been responsible for a funeral before so initially felt a bit overwhelmed knowing that many things had to be arranged. When I met Ann at the parlour she was immediately reassuring and my fears about it all quickly faded. Her sense of gentleness and kindness filtered through everything and continued to do so right up to when the funeral was complete, so I would like her to be praised for both her kindness and professionalism. I only met Keith briefly and did not meet others in the firm so cannot make further comment. I would also like to thank you for all the ‘gifts’ and bereavement guidance you gave, again a very thoughtful and kind gesture.
“In light of all this, I have no hesitation in recommending Hollowell’s for a loved one’s funeral and for their offer of aftercare support”.
My family and I could not have asked for more care, support and kindness that we received from your Company. David was so sympathetic and supportive. I know it is what you do but it felt above and beyond. Thank you again.
We would both wish to say a heart felt thanks to all at Hollowells involved in caring for our mother and for providing us with a seamless day yesterday to enable us, the family and friends to say our farewells and to hold a beautiful ceremony at Abington Church and Milton. I say thankyou on behalf of my mum, too, as she had put her trust in you. You delivered on that trust and to Don previously.
I would like to thank you personally for your sensitivity and professionalism from the start and at all stages in our dealings with you. You are a credit to a very difficult profession particularly during these unbearable times. Its hard to take control of a very personal process and to remain virtually invisible at the same time. We needed you there to be honest. Seeing all the flower tributes at Milton reminds us that we are not alone in our pain and sorrow and it is a page of every life that families endure and you face each day. Thank you on behalf of all of those before and in the future.
