As a family we would like to express our sincere thanks to the staff at Hollowells for the care and compassion shown when we lost our mum in January. From the dignity and respect shown from when mum was placed in your care to our final goodbye we have nothing but gratitude for the kindness, compassion and thoughtfulness experienced at a very emotive time. Having lost our dad in May 2022 it is lovely to be able to say that Hollowells cared for our dad in the same way, for which we will always be grateful.In particular we would like to especially mention Chloe – we entrusted her with arranging our dad’s funeral and when it came time to plan for mum the only person we wanted to help us was Chloe because of her professionalism and sincerity. In addition we would also like to mention Trudy and Tracy for always having a friendly face and a hug when it was needed.  Losing our parents so close together was hard but Hollowells’personal approach and genuine care made it that little bit easier which we will never forget. 

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I would like to thank you and your colleagues at Hollowells for giving my dad such a lovely send off. Everything – the order of service, music, transport was done to such a high standard.  It was an emotional time and made easier by your kindness, support and professionalism.

“I want to say a big thank you to you and all your team for arranging my mother’s funeral. It all went as well as we could have hoped and we were really happy with the way you handled everything so professionally on the day itself and beforehand. You were very patient with all our questions and very understanding with our deliberations about the coffin and the colour of stain. Thank you for helping us through a difficult few weeks.

I would just like to say that Ann O’Neill  was particularly thoughtful and very respectful in regards to my mother Mrs. Vincenzina Hearne. She did not rush me into making any decisions and she was very tactful when it was needed. I could not have asked for more.

I wanted to express my appreciation from all my family our many thanks for looking after my late Father David Ashton you made it less stressful. Your care and empathy go above and beyond. From the mortuary staff through to Ann O Niel and all the other staff involved.

I didn’t have to think about it Hollowell’s would always be the first choice.

I would like to thank you for your efficiency, care and the attention to personal detail and respect shown to Papa on his final journey. We knew you could be trusted because you attended to mum’s details too. In fact, Papa said…..I will have the same….and indeed he did. My sister and I would like to mention Ann O’Neill in particular, for her personal attention during a difficult time…..our parent’s having died within such a short time of each other.    Thank you.
