I am extremely grateful to Hollowells for their compassion, efficiency and general professionalism throughout this distressing process. Everyone I dealt with from the receptionist to those who dealt with the service on the day were exemplary. In particular the family and I send our heartfelt thanks to Chloe. From initial contact through to the day of the funeral itself, in all my dealings with her I always had the impression that the client was important and every little detail was important. That meant a lot to us all. I would have no hesitation in mentioning such a positive ( in all the circumstances) experience to anyone else unfortunate to find themselves facing this sad event. In short Hollowells handling of this sad occasion was nothing short of faultless. Given the additional constraints imposed by the pandemic, the performance was admirable. I’d like to take this opportunity to personally thank all at Hollowells for the great funeral service you helped to put on for my Dad Michael Collyer recently. Whilst obviously a sad time I take great comfort knowing that we gave him a great day to celebrate his life.

I would like to say a special mention to Chloe who looked after our arrangements. Despite numerous emails from me asking the most basic questions or just wanting to ensure everything was in hand my dialogue was met with nothing but compassion, empathy and very much a can do approach that made you feel nothing was too much to ask. In a time of turmoil the professionalism and personality in which Chloe displayed throughout was very comforting and meant our focus could be put in just ourselves and dealing with the emotions we had.

This has been such a terrible time but I feel compelled to offer my most heartfelt thanks for the incredible sensitive and tasteful way your entire staff have treated me. From the first contact the two lads who came to collect Barry were very courteous and helpful. Meeting Chloe was like meeting up with an old friend, she is certainly a valuable asset to your company and should be extremely proud of the way she conducted herself right form the first encounter through the whole process. Even being kind enough to personally take the flowers to my home after dropping us off at the wake. Keith put into pictures the design that I could only have dreamt of in the service sheet and once again all contact with him was so smooth and trouble free. And last but by no means least I have to offer my thanks to Edna (Hollowells Vintage type Hearse). Such a beautiful and dignified Old Lady who carried out her duties without missing a beat. A big thank-you to her too.

Thank you for a special service yesterday, the service from day one has been one of care and compassion.  Mum looked as she should do, and helped the grieving process. 

 The visual tribute was spot on, Janene organised the day with ease.  And I am so glad you recommended Heather, she was superb, a great listener and public speaker, she managed to portray mum just as we had hoped for.  Thank you so much Heather. 

 You all have made a difficult time slightly easier, and a special day for mum yesterday. 

 I wouldn’t have chosen anyone different to Hollowells as mum went to school with Paul and you have done all my close families funeral.  

 Thank you, I will continue to recommend you all.
