I’d like to thank you all at Hollowells for helping to arrange the funeral service for my late husband Steve on 14th January.

During such a sad and difficult period for me it was most comforting to know that Steve was in such loving and caring hands.

From the initial discussions through to the Service on the day, everything was provided with kindness and professionalism – this made a huge difference and I shall remember it forever.

Please also pass on my warm thanks to Rev Martin Swan for a lovely send off from a fellow Chelsea supporter – Steve would have appreciated this so much.

“Excellent service from Hollowells. Mum had a pre-paid funeral plan which made the whole process so much easier at a time when you don’t need the extra stress in guessing what mum wanted when the time came and of course having to find the funds to pay for the funeral. Something I need to do at some point and wouldn’t hesitate to use Hollowells. Special mention to the lovely Amy for her kindness during what was and is a sad time for all family.”

I would like to thank you for your efficiency, care and the attention to personal detail and respect shown to Papa on his final journey. We knew you could be trusted because you attended to mum’s details too. In fact, Papa said…..I will have the same….and indeed he did. My sister and I would like to mention Ann O’Neill in particular, for her personal attention during a difficult time…..our parent’s having died within such a short time of each other.    Thank you.

Luckily, I haven’t had much cause to arrange funerals but compared to my previous experiences Hollowell’s service was exceptional. Chloe Darvill is a credit to you. She was so professional and thoughtful and I want to express my gratitude to her for holding my hand through the process. Obviously, with the regulatory changes caused by the Pandemic and lockdown, we expected the personal touch to be taken away by the regulations but Chloe ensured Nancy had the send off we hoped for her. It was a lovely touch driving by the Salvation Army Church to acknowledge the importance of Nancy’s faith and starting from St Christopher’s so the staff could pay their respects was very thoughtful. We were very impressed with the flowers too, kindly pass on our thanks to the florist.

Everything was as Yvonne wanted it, and more. What a lovely service it was, with a very good attendance—-and the sun shone for Yvonne too.
