We were very happy with the way your team dealt with everything from Helen’s first home visit to consult Arthur‘s wishes with him from his death bed. We know that that friendly visit gave Arthur comfort and peace of mind that everything would be dealt with in his humble way-a short no fuss affair!!His wishes were honoured and given with compassion and dignity. The family from Wales were more than impressed with the service organised and conducted by Ann O’Neil and her team. His cremation was beautiful, very moving and short. The Reverend Ted Hale honoured Arthur’s wishes and Tony Edward the organist played all Arthur’s requested music.
Once again the family thank you for making this day special to Arthur and us all.

Just wanted to let you all know what an Excellent and professional job was done by everyone at Hollowell’s from the first meeting to the actual funeral and the subsequent collection of the Ashes. My entire family could not fault any aspect of the whole series of events that took place with the lovely added touch of some beautiful Orchids being delivered to our home .
We have already one funeral plan in place for either myself or my wife and will most definitely recommend Hollowell’s to anyone who asked for Funeral Directors services,

Hollowells have looked after my family for many years ( my father, mother, sister, nephew and my in laws) and I cannot fault your services at such a difficult time.

Hollowell’s have provided the very best care and attention that I could ever have wished for, Chloe was absolutely wonderful and her kindness, advice and help were over and above.
Chloe is truly an asset to you, she helped us every step of the way, and the moment Aunty came into the care of Hollowells my mind was at ease having spoken with Chloe. The entire team went over and above, keeping me updated at all times, nothing was too much trouble and I am truly grateful for making such an upsetting time of my life a much easier and gentler one.

I would like to say when someone passes away, even when older, like my beautiful Mummy you are left with, so many unanswered questions, not really knowing what to do, who to turn too and how to cope. Once we had made the telephone call to Hollowells, they became part of the journey with us and treated us like family. From the initial contact to the end, everyone at Hollowells were so kind, respectful and dignified. You feel like part of a big family, that help you take each day, one step at a time. I would especially like to thank Tracey, who was there for me and supported me throughout this very difficult time. Tracey was always there, to listen to me; she is so kind and in the darkest of times, always knew what to say and how to reassure me. Tracey looked after Mum at The Birches, which gave me great comfort. I would also like to send a heart felt thanks to the celebrant recommended by Hollowells, Mr Andrew Fox, on the day of Mums funeral, he was so kind and dignified. He captured Mums spirt and when talking about her, it was as if he had known her for years. We had the flowers recommended by Hollowells, Tony Jones Florist, absolutely stunning. Everything organised by Hollowells took all of the worry and stress away from us. So, I was able to take my time and reflect. To be able to give my Mum a dignified, respectful and beautiful service, that I know she would have loved.

Although we had used Hollowells for my Mother in Law’s funeral, that only happened because you were recommended by someone else who had to use your services. Similarly, we would have no hesitation in recommending Hollowells but hopefully not too soon. I was delighted with how things went on the day, the handling of arrangements before hand and in fact prior to the funeral I felt that I should be doing something. Of course that was all done for me. The service was a fine tribute to my father and he would have approved. On a personal note, Chloe handled the arrangements perfectly and I was delighted with her help, constructive and knowledgeable advice and of course her support. I could not have asked for more. Please pass on my thanks to her. Sadly, I know you are all busy at present given events worldwide so I am thinking of all those who have to make funeral arrangements, an overlooked role during the current pandemic.
