We always come to you, we have done so four or five times now, as there are no issues.
I am very happy with the way that you Simon and your firm carried out all the necessary arrangements for my Mother's funeral, and many people watching remotely, as well as those of my relations present, commented favourable on this too. I was impressed to see the 'after care' that you provide to those bereaved, which I might have been interested to join in with, were I living locally......I found you to be sensitive and helpful, as my main contact, and the couple of phone calls I shared with others were also positive interactions. Allowing for the extraordinary circumstances dictated by the pandemic, I really think it was all as I would wish.
With Sincere Thanks
Thank you for a lovely service. Your team have been really kind. I have mostly spoken to Simon, he was very helpful and kind arranging everything on the phone.
It’s been extra difficult of course at the moment for everyone, but we still had a service Dad would have liked .
Having the Webcast was really good , relatives That couldn’t come were Pleased to be able to watch it. We also appreciated the orders of service to send and the bookmark etc.
The flowers were lovely and we felt they had really picked up on a wild flower theme, which I asked for. Please pass on our thanks and praise.
I would like to say thanks to you for the way the your colleagues handle everything, in arranging the funeral and on the day.
It was appreciated that the attendants sat in on the service, as there was only my brother and myself attending.
Also 1 of your attendants new my Dad through the Boys Brigade which added to my Dads send off.
The people I dealt with all handled themselves professionally in these difficult times and made a difficult task for the family as simple as possible.
I would like to single out Chloe who was always available and help me greatly providing guidance along the way.
Although everything was done over the phone, due to social distancing rules, because Chloe had arranged my Mum’s funeral 6 months ago, it meant I knew Chloe and
she had an understanding of the family’s needs, making the process a lot easier for me and the family.
It was absolutely fantastic. My only disappointment was that I couldn't shake your guys hands on the day."
From the first conversation I had with Simon, I knew that Dad’s funeral arrangements were in safe hands. His care and attention meant that lots of little things resulted in us being able to give Dad the funeral that he would have wanted. Even though my Mum couldn’t be at the funeral, she could spend some time saying goodbye with Dad as the cortege left from my parents’ home. Thank you for all your care – it meant so much to my family.
I write to let you know that everything regarding the funeral was arranged and carried out to my complete satisfaction, from my first telephone conversation with Tracey at your Brafield office, and Amy the lovely lady who looked after me on the day of the funeral.
The webcast is a wonderful idea and especially during the recent restrictions as friends and relatives were able to view the service and be part of it.
I am a secretary at a local firm of Solicitors and am used to dealing with relatives who have suffered bereavement but when it’s personal to you it is so different. Tracey was a friendly reassuring voice on the other end of the phone who guided me through the process, from answering all my questions to making sure my music and poem choices were passed on and making arrangements with the Minister.
My husbands death was the most horrendous and heartbreaking experience in my entire life. He died just six weeks after we got married. Tracey was fantastic from the moment I phoned, she kept me informed throughout and called me as soon as I was able to see my late husband again. Despite the social distancing measures in place due to COVID19 I felt as thou Tracey was holding my hand and helped me gain the courage to say goodbye not once but twice to my husband. Tracey listened to all my requests and arranged everything in a caring and compassionate way. Peter Wyllie (celebrant) took his time to listen and carried out a heartfelt and fitting service for my husband. Weeks after the service Jane rang just to see how I was doing which really touched me. The bereavement councillor is also a fantastic, caring and understand person. Thank you for helping me through my darkest hours.
It went really well. The Order of Service was lovely, well produced. I was very happy with Tracey Taylor she was easy to talk to when making the arrangements. Amy who conducted the service was so kind and caring.
At a very sad time for our family following the death of my mum, which happened at a very difficult time with all the restrictions due to Covid19, I cannot stress how wonderful everyone at Hollowells were. They made a very sad time easier to cope with by being so supportive, thank you
