Last night was the second year of hosting our
‘A Time To Remember’ Concert
We joined together to remember those who gave their lives during WW1 whilst the Last Post was played and a two minutes silence was shared.
The memorial screen gave time for reflection of those who are no longer with us. The Northampton Male Voice Choir and Hayley Griffiths sang beautifully during the reflection period.
The uplifting second part of the concert joined us in song from the war years and songs from around the British Isles.
We ended our evening with our own version of The Last Nights of the Proms and we stood together to sing The National Anthem.
We are delighted to announce we raised a massive £2,482-00 which will be donated to The Emergency Assessment Bay on the Talbot Butler Ward, Northampton General Hospital.
The Hollowell family thank you all for joining them to celebrate such a special time and make the evening such a wonderful success.
Special thanks to The Northampton Male Voice Choir, Stephen Bell, Peter Wyllie, Hayley Griffiths, Sam Waddington, Martin & Melody Heath, Andy Poole and Barbara, Connor and all those behind the scenes at Northampton School for Girls.
We look forward to seeing you all next year.
